I am still a Huge fan of the tv show “Fringe”. One reason is the ultimate possibililites that it shows of reality, and the other is the concept of another world? Now the obvious thinking of this is absurd to even realize but if we think of this in maybe in a different light, it is not to far off.
You see, what if we are actually living in two different worlds simultaneously as one! In fringe they are living one different life as two. But we are doing the first way!! Christians alas Spiritual beings are living in a humanistic body.
This may sound scifi but this is actually what we should be living on a day by day journey. Ever since our fall from grace with God, we are living in a humanistic world, but His life is still present in us through His sacrificial dying for us on the cross.
This concept is the hardest for the christian”s to understand, I believe.
Let me explain, We are letting our human characteristics lead us!! The only way that I can explain this is the concept that I have used in a previous blog of the Glove and the Hand. It is the Hand that controls the glove in all its actions, not the other way around.
Maybe there is something to that saying, Let Go and let God!
This is what maybe our problem is we have to do nothing!! We think that we as christian”s have to do something for God! It is God in US that acts according to His Will. Why do we have a problem with just sitting,resting, pausing,waiting,leaning on Christ. Do you realize that this is just what the Israelites did in the Wilderness for forty years!! They did not move until the Cloud moved in front of them. What was God’s idea for them to do while they waited for the Cloud(God) to Move? My guess is that they were meditated on His being! What did He represent,what was His plan, What was His desire? Sure He saved us from the Egyptians and their bondage, but
what was next? We look at everything that happens to us in our Physical eyes as good or bad experiences but we fail to look at everything through God’s eyes. If we are of Christ and have the Spirit of Christ then we can see Christ in our Spirit.
Just a side note. I am currently in a very long journey with Christ(It could be like a 40 yr journey) and Watchman Nee reading his Life study series of the Bible. I personally believe that Watchman Nee and his partner Witness lee in their Ministry of “Living Stream Ministry.org” is seeing the Bible in a Spiritual realm that it has created a indwelling in me!
I strongly encourage everyone to check it out! You can set it up to read as much as you would like to read in a day. It is for the entire 66 books of the Bible, I have started from the beginning in Genesis, I am now in Exodus. I guarantee that you see the Bible in a different Light!!
