1 Peter 2:4-5 As you come to him,a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ

1 Corinthians 15:44– It is sown a natural body;it is raised  a spiritual body.If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.”The first man Adam became a living being”, the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

1 Corinthians 10:1-4 For I want you to know,brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea, and all were baptized into moses in the cloud and in the sea, and all ate the same spiritual food and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ.

Romans 8:2-4 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin is death. For God has done what the law,weakened by the flesh,could not do. by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin  in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 2:14 The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God , for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually dis-concerned. The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. ?For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

These verses are en-lightning us to the aspect that God gave us a spirit and also a mind and a body at time of creation.  Our spirit has been corrupted by satan since the fall, but with Christ coming into the world,dieing, resurrected into Heaven, things have changed. Our Spirit is with His, and we are a life giving spirit now.

1 peter 2:5, I think to some of us may be mis-understood on the origination of the speaker. Let’s look at this verse, It refers to us as also like Christ as a living stone, But Christ is the cornerstone.  I believe this will be in reference(Matthew 16:16-18) of God telling Peter that He will build His church on this rock(this is Christ his Son). Christ at the time of this was after Christ was resurrected from the grave and His All inclusive Spirit( this reference is to the all inclusiveness of Christ; He has been thru all three phases – humanity,death, and resurrection.) This was done in the spiritualness  of His nature.

Christ leads, Christ Loves, Christ bears all, and Christ indwells within us!
