The forgotten sect

There was a small but very sincere group of believers that may need to be relooked at as far as intent of life as God’s desire.

It was the sect of Israel that was very subtle in it’s living but still very much relevant.

This community were the essenes.

It is believed that the essences are the source of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Tho not actually signed by the essenes, it is of their style and mode of life and living that sees that their experience and devotion is of this testament.

Our knowledge of the first century would not be complete if we are missing a piece of this vital knowledge of these very important people and their understanding of God, his son, and his kingdom.

It would be to our advantage to study, and research and know these people of the first century and their interpretation of God’s message to his world.
