God’s Word continues to give and give and…….

I have had a few instances in the last few months with fellow christians that feel that they can stand pat in the knowledge of God’s word. This scares me, I mean really scares me!

God’s word is like the ‘Energizer Bunny’, it continues to give and give to use to further the knowledge and wisdom of God.

It seems that once someone feels comfortable in their skin of righteousness they believe they have it ‘all’, and need no more insight from God and his words that they refuse any brotherly discussion of any or all said discussions being fruitful, which is very sad.

Iron sharpens Iron.

What I think is very hypocritical of this is that they stand on their premise of going to a church to be with their fellow ‘christians’ to fellowship with them in the weekly bible study. Now the bible studies(real bible theology discussions) that I have always been in, are nothing short of differing opinions of positions of their beliefs. It would (in my circumstance, that we had a vary degree of people from different backgrounds of religion) we were always cordial in our discussion but we were always talking things out so that we all knew where we were coming from.

I would surely say that true biblical studies should be in this context of ‘What do the scriptures really say to God’s people’? This has gone on for a few thousand years and it will continue to do so until God has us as ‘One Sound Mind, One Sound Heart’!!

This totally messes with my mind, in that for the first point, ‘Did you not start with an ‘Theology’ that you believed in already and now you completely changed it in a matter of seconds? Or you deny the furtherance of learning new things in and about the scriptures that could have one or multiple ‘aha’ moments in your thinking?

One thing I have noticed in some ‘christian’ searching for their theology, is that they went about it in a bad way of weighing their research for it. It seems that the way that some people ‘learn’ or ‘research’ their religion, is to just go to that ‘church’ and have them tell you what their religion is all about, ins and outs, and here is the pen to sign on the dotted line! What? It is like going to auto dealer, say a ford dealer, He is going to try and sell you a ford car, since you are looking for a car. He is going to tell all the good things of the ford, but not the bad things, or tell you that other car dealers, chevy, buick, toyota, jeep, etc are good too. This is like pulling sheep over your eyes?!

For the second point, it seems that from other people that they see that maybe your decision making of the biblical resources have been limited with testimonial sharing with people that says that you could be suspect to wrong informed decisions. Our journey with God does not stop. period. In fact in doesn’t stop for anyone or anytime until God has decided to bring back the New Kingdom to his Creation..

I see a problem with some christianity sects that seem to be very inclusive, in that it is ‘their way or No Way’ thinking. This seems to be a stumbling block for Christians and Christianity if this is to be continued. God will tell us what is ‘The Way’ and When. I have not seen it or heard it,yet. I feel that it is working itself out in christianity as we speak.

This also is ironic in its subject matter that I see and hear this in the U.S. , America has got all the answers about religion and Christianity! Not! The failure of these sects that feel that they are in the know of the ‘right’ way, have no understanding that there is a whole world out there that probably can and will disagree with them. It is that famous saying that needs to hit the box of the church to “Believe outside of the BOX”

The world is what God is saving, I know, I know, The United States really needs saving the most right now, but that’s not what the bible tells us. It is the world that he is worried about. It will be what the whole world ‘needs’ to hear and believe in to ‘see’ and ‘know’ Him! It will be a Universal Language.

If we cannot talk or meet with our fellow believers, how are we going to talk or meet with the unbelievers?

Are you being controlled by the Old covenant or the new covenant?

It’s time. Yes, it is time that all christians stand back and look at our ways. Our ways on christianity. What are they and Why?

What things do you have instituted in your life or the life of your community that you are a part of? Go and re look at the things of the old covenant and see if the things of the old covenant of the Israelite’s from God are the things that you are in sync with either in your personal way or the corporate way of you are worshiping God.

If you haven’t noticed in the story of the old covenant, there is no mention of this being a way to salvation for anyone. Even if all the people would of been able to adhere to the commandments they would not of been ‘saved’!

Now, go to the new covenant and look at the beliefs of the New Kingdom and New Creation that God has created thru us. Look at all the beliefs, ways, and actions of this new covenant. This paradigm of God and his new life in his people is the journey that has led us to the eternal purpose, which is the things told to us in Revelation 21-22. There is a connection between the story of the new covenant and the end of the story in Revelation.

This is very, very important to remember(the last sentence of last paragraph), if the things that you seem to think are important to your fellowship, worship, rituals, traditions, or beliefs do not coincide with the journey to chapter 21 and 22 of Revelations, then those things need to be re-looked at if these things are the wrong path to go down to get to this paradigm.

To many institutions have gone down this path, to lead us to the wrong beliefs, practices, traditions, and worship to get us to our goal. This is where it is up to us and us alone to read the scriptures and seek out the truth of the Lord, to get us to the eternal purpose!!

Go,Now and search the scriptures and see the New Covenant and go to the New Kingdom of God!!

It’s the eternal purpose,people!

I sometimes wonder how christianity has gotten where they are by what I read in the scriptures.

Maybe if you read it enough times you start to see things that weren’t there the first time, or second time, or third time. But it is that continuing searching that it starts to show that underlying theme or storyline that come into focus for you. You just wonder with the pharisee’s and the saduccees that were known for their reading of the scriptures over and over again, why they didn’t see things that were connected to each other that would spin itself into a deep and amazing story for mankind. Maybe their ritual, or tradition was to just ‘say’ the scriptures was just a mundane chore for the day? Maybe, this was the problem with Israelite’s in that they were to much in the tradition of reading the scriptures that their was no meaning in it.

I have come to rely on history. In history we see not only actual events of time, but of the social events before and after said big event. It is how we base our understanding of mankind in all thru time. It is in this realm of digging into history we see even more and more of people in their own stories, communities of understanding everything around them and their actions and beliefs to those events. We, right now are doing the same thing, we just might not know it, we are acting and reacting to all the events around us, and to some extent to things far away from us with advent of the internet.

I have become over the last twenty years have been that forensic detective that doesn’t just ‘see’, or ‘read’, or ‘hear’ something without digging past the obvious things. This should be the mark of Jesus follower, digging deeper every day that you are a christian. What I have learned thru the years of studying the bible is that it is a goldmine of information about God and his people and his world. I once was asked ‘How long should it take to read the bible?’, the usual ‘church’ answer would be the 1 or 2 year plan that the church gives out. But this is not the ‘idea’ for what the bible is. It is to ‘know’ the Bible! My answer to the question was “50 years”, I think my answer may have been to short in its answer, tho! We can only scratch the surface with God. But I do believe that we should ‘see’ what God is telling us and showing us on what his intentions for us.

The models of what we have perceived to be the existence of God’s people in the world and how they are to be in the world, and how they are to meet, act, or to exist has be skewed in that we have not understood the eternal purpose of God.

I want to point out that this is because of a few things. One is the misunderstanding of God’s eternal purpose in mankind. We are very, very limiting of God. We have put God into thousands of little buildings all across the U.S., when the scriptures says the opposite. God will be, and is Everywhere. This was and is His Goal. But we have failed to see this in His New Covenant. It is actually following the first covenant of the Jews with God in that we were supposed to build a temple and place God there!? What’s with that? Just maybe we have not reached the understanding of the New Covenant with Christianity yet? I don’t know either. But I do ‘see’ the dawn of the light coming into the world.

The second thing, is that the failure of christians failing to read and to study the scriptures in a way that is done in a more deep and investigative way to find the truth of God. We have realized way to much on the person in front of congregation to give them snippets from the bible, as does the media on the national news. Look how that has gotten us! Until we realize that as a God believer that we dig deeper and deeper into God’s word to know him. This is not going to be a easy fix, but it can be done with the fortitude of God’s people. Where two or three people are gathered together, there also is God. He will guide and direct us in his word. I strongly suggest in having a small group of people that are in agreement in your quest in finding the truth in the word of God.

The third thing is maybe(it is) the glue that holds this all together. Jesus died on the cross, rose again to be with the father, it is in this action that God has sent someone to follow us in our journey here on earth to unite God’s people together. It is the “Holy Spirit”, this is our “Christ is in Us, We are in Him” fact that we seem to forget or just don’t understand. I tend to think the latter. Christ living ‘in’ us, We ‘in’ Him means we are in fellowship with Him, and We are ‘WORSHIPING’ Him. This is the design of God’s ultimate purpose! Why do we not see this? The Holy Spirit is our temple, church, body, bride whatever you want to define it as. (It is not to have a fellowship with other people in a building, it is to have fellowship(worship) our God. Period. This reasoning of other people as fellowship has to go away to understand the true meaning of worshiping of God!)

Now, taking those three things as corrections in our understanding of our eternal purpose as God’s people, and He our God we should be able to ‘see’,’know’,’hear’,what God’s purpose for us in the world, it is that ‘WE’,All His People are His, unto all the nations, forever and ever! Praise His Name!

Shadow,Reality

Shadow–Adam, being the first adam, Eve being the first eve. Created to have fellowship. That adam being the shadow of God, and eve being the shadow of his people.

Reality–The second adam being Jesus, and second eve being his people. Just as in the creation of Adam and Eve, Eve will be come out of Adam, which was always apart of Him(God). Fellowship realized.

Doesn’t this just blow you away in this reality!!

Adam/Man

Alpha, beginning, first, start all terms used to describe adam’s status. Adam is/was used as the lightening rod of measurements to everything following him as to a blueprint for life and to a life abundant. But why?

Why and to what extent is adam used as a measuring cup to life?. What is his creditials? Who is he? and says who?

God can be a very direct and to the point God, just ask the jewish people. See the Ten commandments. See the laws of food, worship, and life as example’s. God on the other hand can be very suttle in his desires for us. This is the hard part for us it seems, is to see or hear as the jewish society didn’t hear the small but influential nuances that need to be added to another setting or story to see what God was doing or describing his will.

Talking, hearing. Oh for the days of yore! This as we know was the rule of the day that things learned were of the hearing and listening of someone talking in front of the tabernacle just talking about God. or it could be from a roaming prophet,or teacher,or rabbi that would spout words of wisdom to all that would listen. The detail of the message was in the interwoven things that God’s instruments were saying if you put them all together. Like a symphony!

Adam, the first family as it was was, is, the mold to which we should not just imitate but to see it for all it is worth. This man, Adam, his being, his identity, his world, his purpose, his future, what were they?

God’s plan was and is the same today, but maybe with a bit of clarity of the whole story and design  of things than of before, but there were signposts of things even back in those early day of Adam. We can start by looking at the why God created eve? There is at least two main reason’s why God did this, one is probably obvious and that is the multiplying of his creation.  The second is there in front of our faces is that God’s creation desired company!  Just as God and His Spirit had fellowship in the beggining, so to did Adam. So this was just not a message of human enteraction with each other but of a description of how God feels about his creation. You see how suttle that was of God!

Another peek into God’s heart is understand the story of the first murder. The first parents of the world are not immune to issues with their children, in fact it may just show us why we are having the problems we are having with our kids. What we need to do to start, is to get past the act of the murder, but to concentrate on the actions of both cain and able. We need to look at cain’s life first, Both cain and able were the children of Adam and Eve, they had just been kicked out of the garden of eden to try and make it on their own. New place,New rules!

Now what they make of this situation is and could be the defining moment of ‘mankind’ if they had really understood the ramifications. Adam and eve having just gone thru an learning experience with God, would they take his truth and continue with it or would they continue to go it alone? What would adam and eve’s legacy do? Along come cain and able to put their parents knowledge and experience to use, oh, how would they do? Cain, a tiller of the ground. Able, a keeper of the sheep.

Do you see it? It is right there in front of you!,keep looking and you will see it!  We are just into the 4th chapter of the bible and there is a astounding “AHA” moment of the bible!

Let’s go back to chapter 2 verse 15 when God says that he took the man and put him into the garden of eden to dress it and to KEEP it. God wants Adam to continue to keep the garden as it is, God’s design. This means all that he has made. The heavens, the land, the water, the air, the animals and himself. Let’s now go back to chapter 4 verse 2 the first part when it says, “and abel was a KEEPER of SHEEP.”  Did abel thru his parent(s) learn this or was this the defining moment that man sees, hears and knows of God’s desire of his creation. Abel got it, did Cain?

Cain’s learning or teaching was from a different teacher, but not of God. Cain, in verse two of chapter 4 says that he was a tiller of the ground. Is this understanding of God, or man?  Cain separated himself from God to go at it,himself. To work, by the tilling of the ground to survive, and to be his own self.

There was beginning of God’s design, his creation adapts to his own, his creation develops, only one of the two chooses to see and hear God’s true will to right the ship. Our path has followed the one that didn’t see or hear God’s will.
