Kingdom

:a country, state, or territory ruled by a king or queen. 2. the spiritual reign or authority of God.

The above are the definitions of the said ‘Kingdom’. It can be either a physical area of various sizes to be ruled by a king or queen. Or it can be a ‘spiritual reign or the authority of God.

Do you ‘see’ the difference?

There are two main ones that we will discuss. The first one is the ‘location’ or the physicality of the ‘kingdom’. One is an kingdom on earth of a small or large land mass of an kingdom authority by one has the ability to rule over the area. It is one of a human king being self elected or by ruthlessly taking over land with subjects in them to rule over them. It will most deniable going to be in either case not a good king if he had to force his way into the position.

The other kingdom is of the Spiritual realm in which a deity is seen as the one of Kingly rights. In this case God is the one that is touting his reign of authority and supremacy over the whole earth. It is foreshadowed in the ‘God of the Creation’ that has built the Kingdom before time was time. This reign is not of this world, considering that it per-existed before time and creation, so it was of another matter. One of a ‘Spirit’.

Now for the second difference. The first one is a place where there has been conquered land, that has been won by an army of a king, and his announcement that as the king of this army and conquest of this land, He is the king of all of it. It is one of a seen land, a place of human form of the essence of a human’s accomplishment. The end of all things to accomplish, the height of all things to be or want. It is an organization of humanity to bring it together as one. But is it?

Spiritual reign, now this is different. This is from an outside source, not of his own ability, but of one of higher power or of a God, or both. God’s reign is of Him. Every piece of his fiber of God is what he stands for and is, is being represented in his Kingdom and His image of a King. It is what the Kingdom is also. Everything. Every part of the Kingdom oozes the Spirit of God in his Kingdom.

Now, when we use these illustrations of a ‘kingdom’ it almost seems like we want a ‘kingdom’ but we want to build it they way we want to in our image of a human kingdom? but why? Isn’t the ‘Kingdom God’s’, and did he not say that He will build it!, mainly he makes it in His own essence and Spiritual way, and not of the way of man and his ability to crudely make an ‘kingdom’ and everything that comes with it.

Man cannot rule by a Spiritual Authority, only God can.

God’s Kingdom, is designed for an ‘Eternal Purpose’.

Man’s Kingdom, is designed for ‘sinful humility’.

“Your Kingdom come. Your will be done,On earth as it is in Heaven”

I wonder if maybe we have forgotten about this statement in the bible.

I think we have gotten all wrapped up in this ‘church’ thing that we have forgotten that God’s Kingdom is here now, and is coming to its fullness in the future.

I believe I know why Christ said what He said in His profound statement “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. Matt. 16:18

We have tried to move in on Him to do his work of his kingdom, When it is the King of the said Kingdom that builds the Kingdom. I have alot of issues with people in discussing this with the understanding of what this means.

A Proclamation, an announcement, a invitation, a phone call, an email, a letter, are ways that exactly the same as what the ‘Gospel’ is. It is a notice that something is new, different, or worth shouting about. The Gospel is proclaiming that God is King! God has stepped into his creation, in the middle of time, of man and his ways to say that “His Kingdom is starting”, it is building to a crescendo to make it full of Him.

We have missed out on what the scriptures are and were telling us as we read it the first time. I have told multiple people that I converse with that the bible is a narrative, a story that God is telling about his creation and his image in that creation. Read the scriptures from front to back, take your time and ‘eat it'(this is what is called eating ‘Christ’) chewing each thing 6 times(lol), it is a narrative, a story, to be told in this specific way so that we will know the character and mind of God and his purpose, his eternal purpose.

The story is NOT about a building(church) that we need to worry about, it is the mind and heart of all his images(his people) to be in Him and Him to be in Us. We are to be one. We are to be an Image of God.

God’s kingdom was in the first few pages in the bible. It is characterized in a more plain and bare example of what it was, but it was an illustration of what it is. We revolted. We wanted our own version of a kingdom. Let’s look back at history and see how that has worked out?! lol

God again gives his special images of God, Israel, as another example of ‘the Kingdom’ in the first of what we always think of a kingdom in our minds and our drawings. It is this that we need to keep in mind when we now continue reading the scriptures of the narrative for us to get the right picture. God is faithful. Yes, He is, He has created a ‘New Covenant'(Kingdom of God), and He is going to have it. He will build it, He will build with his son helping him. Jesus, Christ and Savior will be the catalyst for the dawn of the Kingdom.

Matt 6:10 “Your Kingdom Come, Your will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven”. This verse I could use as a major screw up in christian theology in it’s usage over the last 400 yrs. “Where did we see in this verse that we were going “To Heaven” at any time? This thought process has been used for the evangelical’s in their message with out any understanding of it!! I don’t understand it!!

But now that we know that the “Kingdom has started, and has started here on earth, and it will continue into it’s fruition. We can finally ‘see’ and ‘hear’ what the “Gospel” is and enjoy God’s Kingdom to its fullest!!

Praise God, Hallelujah, and Amen.

Kingdom of God

People have their own thoughts on what it actually means when we say “Kingdom of God”.

But what does it mean? If we just start with the face value of the statement, we should get a pretty clear view of what it is. Let’s start with the first word, Kingdom. What does ‘kingdom’ mean? Dictionary defines it as “(Government, Politics & Diplomacy) a territory, state, people, or community ruled or reigned over by a king or queen”. This by definition is what we are talking about when we discuss the things of the old testament and the new testament.

In the old testament, the paradigm of a kingdom was that of the gentiles was the ruling military or political party that controlled the land by setting the laws and ideals for everyone. It was different for the Jewish people of Israel, their Kingdom was that of a ‘City’ Kingdom with their God as their King and their ways were of their God. It was like a microcosm of a larger model of the whole earth.

It was a reproduction of shadow from times past, one from the beginning of time, ‘Garden of Eden. It was a time of innocence and beauty of the creator and his creation. It was the paradigm of God’s ultimate eternal purpose.

Now, for the second word, God. Kingdom of God, this is possessive phrase of someone’s possession, a Kingdom. Kingdom of God, a kingdom which God rules, with His paradigm of rule. It is his right, by the mere fact of his creating the said world and putting all things below him. God’s desire for a people to be His people that would be of Him, and He in them. It is the true fulfilling of Love and Life.

Where should this lead us?

It is the acclamation of God’s creation. How then should we be doing or saying or living because of this? What is it that we should do? If we are to be apart of this ‘Kingdom’ we shall be apart of it. We shall be apart of it thru the ‘being’ which created it in his image of all things made of Love and Life.

Where are we at?

I think we have been here before. Is that what is called Deja vu?

Back during the old covenant, the Israelites were confined to the meeting of God to one place, in going to the temple and to bring sacrifices to him, for various reasons according to their faith. It was for the offering of their best cattle or sheep, being their first fruits of their labor.

This ‘going’ to a place to be ‘where’ God was located was a very new and strange thing for the Israelites, because in the gentile world, their gods were nowhere to be seen or heard. The Israelites being set apart from the gentiles, their God was connecting with them thru the building of a temple that was creating by man for God to make his presence known to man. It was because of the downfall of man in the Garden of Eden, that God had to create his Temple for man and for Him to walk and talk together in the world, that God had to start with a pinpoint on the earth, only behind a veil, for only a High Priest to ‘be’ with Him.

This was God attempting to start small, and simple for God’s people, to get them to follow rules(the 10 commandments) to show them the human way of following God to Himself. It is during this journey that Israel tries, but fails in its attempt to follow these rules to ‘be’ with God. This ‘human’ attempt at trying to be with God, was a obvious a failure just waiting to happen. Humanity is flawed in that it is not of God, in ‘knowing’ God. It has only known itself in that when we(humanity) chose not to have ‘Life’, but to ‘know’ good and evil, We are separated from him.

It is here, the scene where we are still going to ‘this’ temple as the ‘only’ place where can ‘be’ with God, in this small Holy of Hollies, that we then leave and go back to our lives and our so called life to live. It is again calling us to go back to this scenario the next week to visit this veiled area that we perceived to be where God is, when we leave our sacrifices at the alter.

Our giving of our sacrifices of our ‘first fruits’ in a building, is the ‘Cain’ attempt of sacrificing. It is the giving of ourselves as God’s people to him we will be Only restored back to Him.

I believe that we may have believed the ‘only’ way to God is thru the building. The building was established thru laws of God’s people the Israelites kept, in which they were not able to follow, resulting in God leaving the Temple, and the Temple being destroyed, taking away all the regulations and traditions of their covenant. It was over.

God’s plan was not yet completed. There are three things that are described in God’s plan: God, a people, a Kingdom. I only mentioned 2 of the 3 in the description of God and the Israelites. God left the temple, He destroyed the temple, but He was still their God.

God’s original King,Kingdom, and people was already used in his story to be used for the model of His Kingdom. It was the Garden of Eden!

This is the desire for God(King) that God’s people will be ‘in Christ’ which is of God(Kingdom),will be with Him in the New Jerusalem(Garden of Eden, land,Whole World)

Not the tree, but the forest.

2020 will be a infamous time to remember in the annuals of time.

It is what we do with it, that will be important in the years after.

There was turmoil in the cities with riots, protests of mistreatment or avoidance of ones worth.

The infiltration of a virus into society that has made everyone, take arms of resistance or of compliance of our leaders as to our life.

A skeptical vote of all to decide their future in the coming years either by a continuance of the norm or of a new and unknown system to some new leaders.

The unknowns of a changing world, different lifestyle, a new way, for everything.

All these things are by themselves horrendous but it is something different if they are put forth together as maybe something different all together.

God works in mysterious ways, He is in control. His ways are His ways not ours. Things of the world, people of the world, and the ways of the world all work for the Glory for Him. It is mysterious and oblivious to us on how things work in God’s realm of uniting God and man together again as in the garden.

Things that are being tested in the world are an indictment of His people going in the wrong direction, with people still putting governments, institutions, man and religion before the Creator himself to be the King.

What is our emphasis on life? What is good? What is it that would satisfying to us to go thru life without concern? When will man see that what his intentions will never be good enough. For himself or for the world. Why is he still trying? His ways will never work. His good, is not God’s good.

But what is next? Man must ‘see’ God for who He really is, The Creator,The King, The Savior, The Universe but uniquely the most important, LIFE.

In the beginning,again.

I have blogged on this topic before in this forum to state my case of the ‘Eternal Purpose’.

King, Kingdom, Man.

These are the ingredients of creation that God uses in his beginning story

This is the picture that God has brushed upon His magnificent canvas of the world to view.

Why is this subject important?

This paradigm is the one that has been overlooked or just not realized in reading the scriptures. It is whole story of the Israelites storyline of existence as a people chosen by God to lead the nations away from Idolatry, as were the jewish people were participating in also. This fact that Israel had succumbed to the same offense as the rest of the world, now includes them in the same boat to the problem. This is main point to see, the Jewish people were to be different, set up by God to do things in the world different. One God, a strict way of living(to keep them from being apart of the world’s ways), and to eat of the Jewish ways.

Keep in mind as we talk about this in that what has happened with the so called ‘church’ and christianity has made their bed with.

The Israelite’s(the chosen ones) living in their promised land had been pushed out of their land to go live in the land of Egypt to be in the hands of pharaoh and his whip. It is here that we see God’s people being put to the test of their hope and patience for God to take care of them. It is their belief that God is still their God and He will get them out of this slavery. (This word is key to understanding the story) It is Mankind that is now also in this paradigm, of slavery, that it actually doesn’t know it is in.

It is during this time that God show’s his power and authority with Pharaoh and with Israel, but Israel and Pharaoh are both blind to it. It is not until ten plagues are used against the nation of Egypt that it relents into giving the freedom to the Israelite’s to go be with their God in the land that he had set aside for them.

It is then that the pharaoh realizes that he must still get them back into his fold, he then sees God is in control of everything and is drowned in the water of the Red Sea. Israel is also still in denial of the God of creation, when they do not see the power of God and control of the world that he has. God’s power over all the things that He has created including them. God’s journey with his people back to the promised land is still a trying time for them in their belief that God is in control with everything, including them. They are filled with unbelief that God can and will take care of them during this journey back to the land. Food and water, is their desire, will they get it and where. God is the provider. But they don’t seem to believe in God’s power or who He is.

God’s ‘people’ by definition has changed since this story, but it has increased exponentially by being of the whole world, which was the original desire in the beginning anyway.

It is now that we ‘see’ this story as the world as a whole being trapped in this same storyline as the Israelite’s. We are living in this world as we were still trapped in the bondage of the Pharaoh(slavery).

Practicing Life

To See something one must open ones eye and look.

When Adam and Eve chose to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, they(we) chose death. For it was the other tree, the tree of Life was the one full of Life.

So it is now that we must be ‘of Life’ and not death to continue to go down this path of ‘Life’. It is now a matter of how we ‘see’ life as our perspective to live in God’s creation. God having given us a blueprint of the first example of ‘Life’, we should use it. The Garden of Eden.

We should use the obvious one first, it was a garden. A garden can be different kinds, a garden of food, a garden of beauty, a garden of nature or could be of everything. By detail in the description of the beginning of life we can see that it was at the very least a garden of substance for our living, food. God’s living creature in his image was made of the dirt of creation, which shows us the degree of our life, we are to be filled of life giving beauty of other creation from God. It was God, meeting all of our needs in ways that were obvious to us and some were in ways that God was giving us special care because we are his special creation.

Nothing brings us down more than being somewhere and the scenery is bleak, black, dreary, and just plain, but God being our creator did not spare any expanse for Adam and Eve. This garden was spared no extravagant expenses of beauty and amazement. It was where ‘our’ life was to be for eternity!

Let me bring up a point that seems to always be overlooked in this scenario in the garden. This garden was designed for mankind and the creator. Yes, the creator was creating a home for him too. God walked with adam and eve in their lives to enjoy each other, it was a community of ‘all’. It was fellowship, with all involved in the process of living. It was for all intended purposes, “All in All” as God says. It was “LIFE”.

Another key message that is overlooked in this storyline is the aspect that it is “God and Adam” that was makes it a complete picture. It was Adam(adam and eve, were two, only complete when together as one.) God(God,Holy Spirit,Jesus) were there in trinity in this storyline that makes it a complete picture. This is the basic illustration of what God was conveying to mankind after the separation of man to God, that the image of God was representing the God of his creation is actually in his kingdom and God was the King. It is not complete until their is a King, a Kingdom and his people.

This storyline from above is exactly what is being restored to the creation before our eyes, if we can only see it. God’s sending his son to be the perfect adam to be the beginning of the ‘New Creation’ to start the ‘people’ of this new kingdom which God has ordained with the resurrection of the new ‘King’ upon his new kingdom to be.

This is our journey to the New Jerusalem of God and his kingdom, the description in Revelation 21-22 is our final destination. What we do in ‘LIFE’ is what will describe our Eternal Life.

It’s right there!

Mat 12:6“But I say to you that something greater than the temple is here.

Unchecked Copy Box

Mat 12:7“But if you had known what this [fn]means, ‘I DESIRE [fn]COMPASSION, AND NOT A SACRIFICE,’ you would not have condemned the innocent.

I sometimes feel that as christians we either are oblivious to the things that scriptures say or we just don’t see it fit in the theology of what we believe so we don’t use it.

Matthew 12. 6 mainly is telling us in a rather bold way that God is not going to live in a ‘temple’ built by man in any shape or form. David, Solomon both were the designer and builder of the last ‘Temple'(where God’s presence was, where sacrifice’s to God were to be given), something bigger and grander than man could ever dream of!

This is just a tidbit of a much larger picture that God was painting in his world, It was going to be even all encompassing that the original one. The larger picture could be as one has said that it began when a baby was born by a miracle. But this is another story for a later time.

What needs to ‘seen and heard’ is meaning and storyline that was being played out right in front of the jewish nation of Israel.

Mat 12:8“For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.” Jesus had become the King of all, for He had been placed in authority of his ‘Creation’ again. With the following verses Jesus goes into the synagogue and does miracle’s and healings to show that His power is greater than the ‘sabbath’ that they knew was now lesser than Jesus. God’s power was now ‘in’ the world with Jesus and his believers growing day by day.

With this knowledge of God’s new and different way of being ‘with’ and ‘in'(now) this was greater than before with the Temple or the synagogue, this is now the new norm. The ‘assembly’ was not to be a continuance of their living in a building for just on a given day but a ‘life’ of eternal living with God.

One of the misnomer’s that have been tagged in this previous thought was that it was to be a way of the ‘believers’ to be united in ‘their’ fellowship of being the godly ones, but this has neither worked for the past 600 years, let alone has not being backed by sound exegesis of this format. It is not that we are supposed to have fellowship with our fellow believers, but to ‘again’ to have fellowship with God! We will have that fellowship with our other believers with our fellowship with God!!

Just think if we were to do this today and going forward, this would be our ultimate Heaven on earth! Oh, Wait, that’s what God wants, the Garden of Eden story!

Why is this understanding not used? The only answer that I can ascertain is that God does not want it to start yet, for I believe that is when we will see and hear great things in the world of God’s kingdom coming to fruition in God’s time. I will have to admit that I believe that it has started in some degree in various ways in the US, and other places around the world. It is as the scriptures say, it will not be something that will be a ‘sign’ but will be the spirit hovering over the ‘sea’ as in the beginning of earth.

Our re-looking at the scriptures will lead us to some new and amazing insights of God’s ways if we will only ‘see and hear’ them as we read the bible. Read it again- Genesis thru Revelation.

Ask yourself, What was God’s intention in the beginning, it went wrong, man was king, but God will reign again, how was he going to do it?

God is all in all!!

Revelations from God

I wonder how many times we have read scripture and could retell the story over and over by heart to someone, who had never heard it before and used it as an example of proof of your understanding of God’s word?

On the surface this was all well and good, especially to whom you was telling the story too, but unbeknown to you, you missed the entire background of the meaning of the story. I want to take you on a journey now to tell you about such an example of instance of this very thing.

I want to input at this time a tidbit of revelation  here. God has, and always will speak, write, talk, about His people,His children,His bride as a single identity. He always has,and always will, this is His intent,to have one identity to call his own. He called his first people “Man”,we have used the definition as Mankind. So if we can take this information with us throughout our journey through the bible, we could have a different view of alot of things.

All through the Bible God used men that God designed to be like Him, some of these men were Abraham,Moses,David,Solemon, and Jacob.  Now even tho the journeys that these men were involved in were used as their name, it was in reality the whole people, tribes,or followers that were in the stories that God used as His People. It was not all about what David did or how he did it that mattered, it was how His people did what or didn’t do that really mattered.

In another words, God’s people were represented by one person in a time frame of the bible. Now, we come to Joshua, God’s man, or should we say His people of the time, are ready to come into the promise land(or of the Sabbath) or rest. God had felt that His people were ready to come into His fellowship by coming into the promise land. Joshua, the representing one,was to have HIs name and also God’s people name changed!! God has always changed the name of His people that have come into the fellowship with Him.(check it out, there are lots of examples in the bible) God’s people are now going to be called “Israel”.
Now this is where we can start to understand something that you really didn’t see in the old covenant(I will be using this term in my blogs from now on, I believe if we use this term instead of the Old testament, that we will pick up on a major revelation of the bible. I will blog on this soon.) The old covenant or OC for short, is,and was pointing to the Jewish people or Israel not individual people or stories or exciting happenings. The New Covenant, or NC from now on, was always pointing to the OC.

The Story begins in the OC when God is trying to tell His People that He is the One that was promised to His people in the scriptures. This is what is mentioned in Jeremiah 31:31-34, This is the New Covenant mentioned which is different from the old by way of it is now in our hearts and minds that is of God. It is not in our works or ways or institutions that will bring us into God’s fellowship. But it  us in Christ and  Christ in Us that makes His people!

Paul in the NC is always mentioning this fact that God’s people have been promised Him as their King, but have failed to see Christ to understand this connection of God

God is King, now and forever. His kingdom is ready we shall be His servants in the New Jerusalem!

Hallelujah and Amen
